This musical version of E.B. White's classic tale about a little mouse born into a normal New York family further enhances the charming story of a determined "underdog" trying to survive in a "real people's world." From melodic ballads to exciting chorus numbers, the score by England's Ronna Frank features such delightful songs as "Paddle Your Own Canoe," "Feed Him Up," "Size," "Stuart Little," "I'm Headed in the Right Direction" and "Nighttime in New York" (sung by a quartet of cats!).

Tom's Rome Sentinel Obituary

We will miss you...

Tom had been a member, actor, director, producer, set designer, trustee, artist, costumer and friend to the entire arts community for more than 40 years.  To honor his memory, the Rome Community Theater is developing a program called "FOSTERing Children".

This program will continue Tom's work helping our community's youth discover theater. Funds donated in Tom's honor will be used to further the education and fostering.

Please send your tax deductible donations for this program in care of the Rome Community Theater at Post OfficeBox 91, Rome, NY, 13442.  Make your tax deductible donations payable to the Rome Community Theater and indicate that they are for the "FOSTERing Children" fund.

God saw Tom getting tired,
and a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around him
and whispered, "come to me"

With tearful eyes we watched you
and we saw you pass away
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay

A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
