The Prompter

Rome Community Theater's Monthly newsletter.   The prompter's mission is to help keep the volunteers of RCT informed of what's happening on our stage, and behind it.

The prompter is mailed out each month, within 1 week of the monthly membership meeting.  All dues paying members receive a copy of the prompter, as do any volunteers that have worked on a production within the last 6 months.

The prompter will soon be available online, but we must send out a minimum of 200 copies via US Postal Service, so the online version will not replace the printed copy any time soon.

If you'd like to receive a complimentary copy of the prompter, or need to update your mailing information,

A one year membership in Rome Community Theater only costs $5.00, and it entitles you to voting power on theater issues, a one year subscription to our newsletter, inclusion in all theater events and parties. Mail Membership dues along with your name, email and mailing address,  to:

Rome Community Theaters
Attn: Membership Committee
P. O. Box 91
Rome, New York 13440
(Checks may be made payable to "Rome Community Theater")

How to Read Adobe Acrobat PDF Files

Most PDF files will require the most current version of Adobe Reader to view properly.

If you currently have a version lower than 7.0 and are experiencing difficulties in opening the page you might want to consider upgrading to the newest version.

Click on this Acrobat icon Download Adobe Reader so you can read the Acrobat version of this file to get the Adobe Reader.

  • Download the Adobe Reader program onto your hard drive.
How to avoid the most common mistake: Write down the exact name of the download file. Most people forget the name
  • How to avoid the second most common mistake: After you've downloaded the file, realize that you're not done yet! You still have to execute the file
  • Close down your browser and any other programs that are running on your computer
  • Click on the self-executing program file that you downloaded to have it install Adobe Reader
  • Get back on the Internet where you will now be able to view any PDF file
